Cozze al pomodoro
Ingredients
- cozze | 1kg
- tomato sauce | 400ml
- garlic | 2 teeth
- red chili | 1
- white wine | 20cl
- persil | a bunch
Steps
Rinse and clean the cozze with cold water.
Then, in a large pot, heat up some oil and throw the garlic in it.
Add the cozze, pour the wine in it and let the alcohol evaporate.
Then cover and wait for the cozze to open up.
Prepare a tomato sauce starting by heating up oil, sliced garlic and the chili in
a pot. Then add the tomato sauce and let it cook at low fire for 15 minutes.
Add the sauce in the pot with the cozze and cook for few minutes.
Notes
- some rosmary can be added in the pot with the cozze.
- start by making the tomato sauce, so it can be added to the cozze pot right away.
