Dahl
Ingredients
- red lentils | 150g
- onion | 1
- ginger | 1 finger
- garlic | 2 teeth
- tomatoes sauce | 400g
- coconut milk | 400ml
- curry | 1 Tbsp
- chili | 1 tsp
- coriander | some branches
- coconut or seed oil | few spoons
Steps
Dice the onion, the garlic and the ginger.
In a pot heat some oil and throw the onions in.
Once the onions are translucents add the giner and the garlic.
Then add the spices and cook for two minutes.
Then add the lentils and the tomato sauce.
Cut the coriander and throw it in the pot.
Add 60cl of water and the coconut milk.
Wait until it starts to boil then reduce the fire and let it cook 25 minutes.
Notes
- make it green with some spinach. Or add them at the end of the cooking. Or mix a bunch of them with some coriander and add that to the pot. To go even further, swap the tomato sauce with some leeks and celery.
