Farinata
Ingredients
- chickpea flour | 250 g
- water | 1L
- olive oil | 100g
- salt | 10g
Steps
Mix the chickpea flour with water and salt. Let it rest for 3 to 4 hours.
Preheat the oven to 250°C.
Remove the foam from the top of the mixture and add the olive oil.
Heat a baking tray in the oven for 5 minutes.
Mix gentyly and pour the mixture into a baking tray.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the farinata is golden brown.
Notes
- sliced onion can be added to the mixture before baking for extra flavor.
- same for rosemary or other herbs.
