Piadina
Ingredients
- olive oil | 60ml
- strutto | 50g
- water | 120g
- flour | 300g
- salt | 5g
Steps
Put the flour in a bowl and start mixing while adding the water slowly.
Then add the olive oil or the stutto.
Finally add the salt.
Work the dough until it is smooth and let it rest 30 minutes.
Divide the dough in 4 pieces of 125g each.
Roll out each piece into a thin circle about 20cm in diameter.
Cook on a hot pan for about 2 minutes on each side.
Notes
- try to make the piadina as thin as possible
- to make more, double the amounts of everything
- to make less, divide everything by 2
- might need to add more water depending on the flour used
