Pickles
Ingredients
- red onions | 3
- apple vinegar | 20cl
- water | 20cl
- sugar | 120g
- laurel leaf | 3
- garlic clove | 1
- star anis | 2
- coriander seeds | 1 tsp
Steps
Peal and slice the onions. Better to slice them lengthwise.
Place them in a jar.
In a pot, pour the water, the vinegar and the sugar.
Add the laurel leaf, the garlic clove, the star anis and the coriander seeds.
Add salt and pepper.
Make it boil.
Filter the mix and pour it in the jar.
Notes
- for red onions pickles we do a tant pour tant. Other pickles can be different.
- Virtually anything can go in the pot, spices or herbs.
