Poires au syrop
Ingredients
- pears | 2
- sugar | 50g
- water | 1L
- cinnamon | 1 stick
- vanilla pod | 1
- anise | 1 star
Steps
Peel the pears and cut them in half.
Put the water in a pot and add the sugar, the cinnamon, the vanilla pod and the anise.
Let it boil for 5 minutes.
Add the pears and let them cook for 20 minutes.
Let them cool down in the syrup.
Notes
- serve them with some whipped cream or some vanilla ice cream on top of some brioche.
